ABOUT DR. KATE HADFIELD ND
Naturopathic Medicine Practiced Clinically
I practice naturopathic medicine like primary care.
Evidence comes first.
Labs guide decisions.
Treatment plans are built on what is clinically meaningful, not what is trending.
Women’s health deserves structure.
Why Women’s Health?
In Grade 1, my teacher called my mother because during recess I confidently informed my class that “men provide the sperm and women do the rest of the work.”
True story.
I have always been drawn to women’s health. Not just the biology, but the agency.
During my undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, I struggled with burnout, anxiety, and digestive concerns. I did not feel well, and I did not feel heard. Seeing a naturopathic doctor changed that for me. It was the first time someone slowed down, looked at the full picture, and explained what was happening in my body.
That experience shaped how I practice today.
What I Believe About Care
I see health as a path to autonomy, where informed choice and clinical clarity are non-negotiable.
Women deserve the time and space to ask questions.
They deserve transparency.
They deserve to understand their lab results.
They deserve reasoning behind every recommendation.
Naturopathic medicine gives us the flexibility to integrate evidence-based conventional care with targeted naturopathic tools. The goal is not quick fixes or one-size-fits-all protocols.
The goal is understanding.
I want women to act, not be acted upon.
To participate in decisions.
To feel confident in what is happening in their bodies.

My approach is structured and evidence-based.
Testing is purposeful. I believe in thorough blood work because we cannot manage what we do not measure. But before ordering any test, I ask a critical question.
Will this change management?
More data is not always better. More supplements are not better care.
My role is to interpret patterns, prioritize what matters most, and build a plan that is realistic, measurable, and reassessed over time.
I focus my practice on women navigating:
Perimenopause
PCOS
Endometriosis
Thyroid concerns
Insulin resistance and metabolic health
Iron deficiency and fatigue
Hormone testing and lab interpretation
Care is collaborative, transparent, and grounded in physiology.
I believe rushed care is not comprehensive care and a thoughtful assessment changes outcomes.
